TB @ NO – WEEK 5

Holy Buccaneer-oly!

Jameis finally realized he’s playing for his next contract (and likely his career as an NFL starter). The Bucs traveled across the country, and Left LA with a win. Maybe Bruce Arians and Byron Leftwich are the QB whispers we thought they were and they got through to Jameis. He’s only thrown 2 picks over the last three games.

That all great, but seriously… Sean Peyton is looking like a coach of the year winner after the first quarter of this season and the Saints are simply going to find ways to win.

The Saints have been sitting pretty in NOLA for the past 2 weeks while the Bucs are playing their second game in a row on the road. Jameis owes us some picks, we’re going to see them

The Cowboys rolled into the Superdome last weak and left scratching their heads, Expect the same thing to happen to the Bucs this week.

What do you think about that Drew?

Two Thumbs Way Up!

DAL @ NO – Week 4

The Cowboys are 3-0 and everyone is saying Dem Boys are for real. I’m not ready to go there. They beat an Eli-led Giants squad, a struggling Redskins team, and…. The Fins.

The Saints have seen a little more competition. They lost Brees against the runner-up Rams and mailed in that game. Teddy B has since come on and got some defensive help last week along with a special teams TD to get out of Seattle with a win.

With all that said, The Dog is still going with Dem Boys.

Teddy is not likely to get another defense and special teams boost like he did last week and Dallas is consistently scoring 30+ points a game.

“But didn’t you just say that Dallas’ competition so far has been weak?”

Yeah. I did. But the Saints defense is bottom 7 and Dak and crew should have another 30 point performance.

Who Dat? It’s Dem Boys. Dallas will cover 3 even on the road and Pound the OVER. Dallas puts up 30 of the 46.

NO @ SEA – Week 3

First on the Saints. 0-2 ATS this year.  This offense will no longer fly by wind, Without a Brees for the indefinite future.  They’ll look to QB by committee in Taysom Hill and Teddy Bridgewater. As I said in our Week 2 Recap; Interested to see how Payton will steer the offense given a new field general under center.

Last time Seattle was 2-0. Went on to win the Super Bowl.  Same QB. Same Coach. I’m a systems guy @andrewperloff, and I like what the Seahawks are running.  Russell is a top 5 player in the league impacting the spread. He goes, they go! Come on Russ – HugoWego!

At Home, The Dog likes Seahawks to bottle up the Saints.

NO @ LAR – Week 2

Certainly the stakes aren’t what they were in last year’s oh-so-controversial NFC Championship bout, but the Saints Come Marching In to L.A with an early season shot at redemption.

Coming off an emotional last drive comeback against a relatively highly touted Texans team, Who Dey Saints have to and will shore up and solidify on the defensive side of the ball to keep the Rams O in check.

Rams did enough to get the W in week 1, but, they also have a lot of miles and time zones behind them in just 7 days. Don’t forget, Drew Brees started his career in the SoCal sun. We’ve all had those moments where we feel 25 again; Drew gets his today.

That’s right, The Dog doesn’t see the Rams getting it done at home this week.

The Dog likes the Saints straight up in this one

This OVER is a sucker bet.

Dog Pro Tip: a sucker bet is only a sucker bet if you don’t take it.
