ATL @ HOU – WEEK 5

I’ve heard a lot of talk over the past two weeks about how The Falcons are done. They peaked halfway through The Super Bowl and haven’t been pointing up since.

Know what The Dog did even before that? I said the Texans are done.

Ever since The Texans let The Jags come into Houston and beat them (even though through some video technicalities Houston did get the W) I drew a big fat line through The Texans.

Atlanta is near the bottom of the league in sacks, but that should change this week as Deshaun continues to be among the most-sacked QBs in the league.

Karma is working against the Texans in this game that is sure to be a fair mix of awesome WR play and hot-garbage. I say it’ll be close and we take the points.

ATL +5

UNDER 48.5

One Woof

TEN @ ATL – Week 4

No ears perking up about Tannehill, so it seems to still be Mariota under center.

Henry may run wild and rack up stats, but other than that, Titans won’t move the ball efficiently enough to hang with the Falcons in this one until their QB shows any signs of life.

Matt Ryan at Home with Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley will be more than Tennessee Defense can handle.  Throw in a solid game from Devonta Freeman, and Atlanta can go for 30+ in this one.

That points The Dog to Atlanta to cover 4 and the OVER.

The Pick

ATL -4

OVER 45.5

One Woof

ATL @ IND – Week 3

Everyone wrote of the Colts when Andrew luck retired, but they could be 2-0 except for Adam Vinatieri missing 2 field goals and 3 extra points already.

Indy has one of the best offensive lines in the league and Marlon Mack is enjoying every second of it with 225 yards in 2 games. It gives Jacoby Brissett enough protection to give me confidence he can jockey these Colts.

Falcons Needed a late miracle TD to collect a big win over the Eagles on Sunday night. Lot of money on the Falcons brings this line down to as low as -1 at some points as it opened the week at -3.

To hit the O/U, you’re going to need 6 TDs and 2 FGs.  Gonna be close, but when isn’t it. Vegas is good at what they do.

The Dog will be on premise for this one.  Home teams making a comeback this week and Indy to take this one.  If you can find Colts at -1 or -1.5; The Dog says hop all over it and Pound It!  Even Colts -2 still looks to be in your favor. The Dog is gonna get in on the Over in this one.

The Pick

IND -1

OVER 47

PHI @ ATL – Week 2

Falcons will go into Sunday night as the home dogs, looking to bounce back from a quiet performance in their season opener on the road against the Vikes. Hosting the Eagles, who are coming off a home win against the Redskins, I expect this one to be a tight battle. Will Matty Ice be able to channel his Naturday power into a Sunday game? While Mercedes-Benz Stadium will be rocking for the 2019 home opener, The Dog is giving the edge to the Falcons given that DeSean Jackson used up all of his good plays in week one. Lot of consistency there with the Atlanata offense and know they can score in droves with so many weapons.

Everyone has the Dirty Birds in the Dog house, and @thedog doesn’t have a problem with that.

Sidenote: Dunkin Donuts giving out $1 medium coffee in Philly for the occasion leaving you with more money to put on ATL.
